1940 Fabulous Blue Hat with Bakelite Pin
This is a fabulous hat made of 100% wool felt in a deep aqua blue...it's label reads "Neumann - Endler, Inc. Fair Field Felts"...it has a great Rosalind Russell look to it. I can see her wearing it in "His Girl Friday" ...the felt is in excellent condition, clean and smoke free...it has an outer and inner grossgrain ribbon running around the base of it, that swipes up when meeting the other end and culminates at it's end with a Bakelite Hat Pin. The crown is 4" tall...the matching veil is in good but frail condition..I see only one break in it and that is on top where it folds in...circumference inside of the hat is 22"...great for Easter!
